For its Fall 2019 campaign, luxury fashion house Balenciaga teamed up with photographer Jean-Pierre Attal, drawing inspiration from deserts in Morocco.

Based on the artist’s sociological investigation-like series «Paysages Ethnographiques», the shooting of this Fall 2019 collection «showcased individuals you would generally find in cosmopolitan scenes, here wandering throughout cosmic deserts in Morocco and Lanzarote», High Snobiety reports.

Describing its campaign, Balenciaga wrote on its website : «Uprooted from a modern maze of architecture, crowds become wandering individuals, each uniquely experiencing a vast, beautiful world».

Indeed, photos from Balenciaga’s Fall 2019 campaign shows a number of people dressed in colorful outfits, wondering in a desert.
