In a recent interview, the imam at Al Nour Mosque in Christchurch said that prior to the March 15 terror attack police had ignored several warning signs, News Hub reported.

Gamal Fouda who survived the terror attacks, that killed 51 worshippers at two mosques in Christchurch, said that he reported several incidents that were considered as «not serious» by the police, prior to the tragedy.

The imam revealed that worshippers were harassed, several times, by white supremacists before the attacks. He referred to Phil Arps, the first man to be convicted for sharing the graphic video posted by the Australian terrorist. It was revealed that Arps had also delivered a big’s head to the mosque.

Reporting a couple of incidents to the Police, imam Fouda said that he «was assured it is safe; the mosque is safe, but it turned out that this is not true».
