Moroccan-Italian footballer Brahim Habbi dies in a car accident

Moroccan-Italian footballer Brahim Habbi died from drowning, Wednesday, after he lost control of his car that fell in an artificial lake on his way to Bologna, northern Italy.

According to Forli Today, the 31-year-old midfielder was in the car with his girlfriends, Maria, 27, who died in the accident. The couple were heading to Bologna when the accident took place.

The tragedy occurred at around 12 pm on May 29th. An investigation was launched to determine the reasons behind the fatal accident.
