A Spanish policeman was killed, Thursday, in Spain as he was chasing two French-Moroccan men in a car that was carrying hashish, AFP reports, quoting police.
The man was killed in Los Barrios in Cadiz, when he was trying to arrest the two men on his motorbike. Spanish media reported that the policeman, who is a married man and the father of a 10-year-old, died after he hit a truck.
Speaking to AFP, a spokesman for the Civil Guard said that the two French-Moroccan nationals «had subsequently been detained as part of an operation against drug trafficking». The spokesman said that the car they were driving was carrying hashish, without saying how much.
