Moroccan Prime Minister Saadeddine El Othmani met, Tuesday, with his Tunisian counterpart Youssef Chahed at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva.

According to a communiqué published by the Tunisian government, El Othmani said that relations between Rabat and Tunis «must be developed, especially as the region is faced with several challenges in the middle of a situation that is complicated regionally and internationally».

To El Othmani, the efforts made to maintain dynamic and fruitful bilateral relations between the two countries are not enough. He stressed that the two nations must strengthen cooperation in the private sector and improve coordination when it comes to scientific research.

Saadeddine El Othmani and Youssef Chahed have been taking part, since Monday in Geneva, in the 108th International Labor Conference.
