American model Ashley Graham was on a trip to Morocco to celebrate her mother’s birthday, when she faced backlash for riding a camel.

Posting photos of her riding a Moroccan camel in the desert, angered her followers on Instagram. Angry internet users slammed the plus-size model for riding the «poor animal».

«I love you Ashley but it’s so disappointing to see you riding a camel like this. That poor animal», an internet user commented on one of Graham’s photos.

«Why did you have to ride an animal to congratulate your mother’s birthday? People follow your example, not cool at all», one fan told the 31-year-old model.
