The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has chosen Spanish multimedia communications group Mediapro as the provider responsible for VAR (Video assistant referee) at the Botola, the Moroccan professional league for men's association football clubs, and the Morocco Throne Cup for the next four seasons.

In a communique released, Tuesday, the Barcelona-based company announced that it will be managing VAR in Morocco. «Chosen by the Royal Moroccan Football Association, the Mediapro group will provide VAR at Africa’s best national competitions», the firm said.
Mediapro is the official supplier of VAR for other competitions in Spain, Portugal, Mexico, Chile and the United Arab Emirates. It is also responsible for managing the newly implemented technique for CAF and FIBA, Inside World Football said.
