Platinum Power, a renewable energy investor minority-owned by American capital market company Brookstone Partners, is partnering with CHINA FIRST HIGHWAY ENGINEERING COMPANY (CFHEC) to build a hydropower plant in Morocco, the firm told Reuters on Wednesday.

The two firms will have to build and run the $300 million hydropower plant, Platinum Power’s chief executive Omar Belmamoun said in a statement relayed by the British press agency. The two firms will also be partnering for similar projects in Africa.
