Algeria agrees to fund a new edition of the Polisario’s summer school

The Polisario’s representative in Algeria, Abdelkader Taleb Omar, has received a delegation from the Democratic Social Movement (MDS) led by its national coordinator Fethi GHares, SPS reported.

The meeting was mainly held to discuss the program of the 10th edition of the summer university of the executives of the Polisario Front, to be hosted by the Boumerdes University from the 27th to the 8th of August.

The event, fully funded by the Algerian state, brings hundreds of people together from the Tindouf camps, major cities of the Sahara and abroad for ten days.

For the record, the 2019 edition of the international conference on the «Peoples' Right to Resistance: The Case of the Sahrawi People», mainly hosted by Algiers in in April, was postponed to a later date because of Hirak protests in the country.
