Spanish-Moroccan footballer Hicham Khaloua and his club UD Almeria have announced their breakup, ending a contract that was supposed to last until 2021, Spanish news agency EFE reports.

The 24-year-old forward joined the Andalusian club in 2012. He made his first appearance with the club’s second division team during the same season.

Two years later, he signed a new contract with the Spanish club and played his first match with the UD Almeria’s first division team. After he was loaned to UCAM Murcia, the player decided to end his contract with the club.

Hicham Khaloua was born on May 7, 1995 in Cartagena, to Moroccan parents. In 2013, he made his first appearance with the Morocco national under-20 football team in Mersin, Turkey.
