French manager Laurent Blanc is reportedly in Morocco to meet officials from the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, media sources said.
According to Afrik-foot, which quotes Arryadia, the French coach arrived Wednesday night at Mohamed V airport in Casablanca. «While all signs point at Havid Halilhodzic (a Serbian coach), who is likely to replace Hervé Renard, a surprise might contradict expectations», wrote Afrik-foot.

A source close to the Royal Moroccan Federation told state-owned channel Arryadia that a meeting was scheduled for Thursday in Rabat between Blanc and the president of the Moroccan football governing body Fouzi Lekjaa.
Unlike Vahid Halilhodzic, 67, who works for Nantes, Laurent Blanc has not been coaching since 2016. Last week, France Football reported that the former coach of the French national team «is still waiting for the right offer». He previously refused an offer from a Russian club.
