Salma Benncharki, the wife of «ISIS boxer» Abderrahim Moutaharrik who is in prison for terrorism charges, was deported to Morocco, Italian newspaper Repubblica reports.

She was sent to Morocco because of security reasons and on the grounds of an order signed by Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister of Italy and Interior Minister Matteo Salvini.

Abderrahim Moutaharrik, a former kickboxer, was arrested in April 2016 and sentenced to six years in prison for terror-related offences.

His wife was sentenced to 3 years and 4 months, after being first in prison and then under house arrest, and had recently finished serving her sentence.

Before her expulsion, the Milan Court of Appeal ruled that the woman should not be expelled, stressing that «that could affect her children» who lived with her in Italy. However, it was decided to send her children to Morocco too to live with their grandparents.
