Atlas Lions’ manager Vahid Halilhodzic unveiled, Tuesday, the final list of the 27 players summoned to join a training camp scheduled for September, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation announced in a communiqué relayed by MAP news agency.
The squad will be preparing for two friendlies. The first match is against Burkina Faso on September 6 and the second one will be held four days later against Niger, the Federation said.
The Atlas Lions’ squad includes Yassine Bounou, Munir Kajoui Mohamedi, Ahmed Reda Tagnaouti, Anass Zniti, Nabil Dirar, Omar Boutaïb, Issam Chebak, Badr Banoune, Jaouad Yamiq, Ghanem Saïss, Yunis Abdelhamid, Fouad Chafik, Abdelkarim Baadi and Youssef Aït Bennasser.
The list also features Sofiane Amrabat, Mehdi Bourabia, Fayçal Fajr, Walid El Karti, Adel Taarabt, Younès Belhanda, Hakim Ziyech, Noureddine Amrabat, Walid Azarou, Rachid Alioui, Soufiane Boufal, Amine Harit and Mehdi Carcela.
Halilhodzic’s final list doesn't include Dutch-Moroccan player Mohammed Ihattaren, who was previously summoned by the Netherlands national under-19 football team. The player who said that he wouldn’t be choosing between the two teams, was on Halilhodzic’s provisional list, released last week.
