While vacationing in Morocco, a family chases a thief that broke into their house in Germany

A German family has managed to chase a thief that broke into their house in Saarland, a southwestern German state, while they were enjoying their vacation in Morocco, Asharq Al-Awsat reports, quoting the German news agency.

While in Morocco for their summer sojourn, a surveillance app warned the family against what was happening in their property in Germany. Police in the European country said, Tuesday, that the son received an alarm on his smartphone «the moment the thief broke into the house».

The son used the app, which allowed him to control the «internal communication system», to «scare» the thief and keep him out of the house.
