Spanish racing driver Fernando Alonso to compete in the Rally of Morocco

Spanish racing driver Fernando Alonso is expected to compete in the next edition of the Rally of Morocco that will be held in October, his team Toyota Gazoo Racing announced this week.

The former Formula One racing driver will participate to this sports event alongside motorcycle racer Marc Coma, who won the Dakar Rally in 2006, 2009, 2011, 2014, and 2015. 

«Fernando and Marc’s next challenge will be the rally of Morocco that will take place from the 3rd to the 9th of October near the city of Fez», Toyota Gazoo Racing said in a statement relayed by MAP news agency.

The Rally of Morocco is the first sports event of its kind that includes different categories (auto / truck / motorcycle / quad / SSV).
