On Wednesday, September 18, and during a hearing at the Sale Appeal Court, the three main suspects, accused of murdering two Scandinavian tourists near Imlil, refused to apologize to the families of the victims.
Abdelfattah El Joud, the leader of the terrorist cell behind the murder, was the first one to admit that he committed the crime responding to the question of Khalid Fetaoui, the lawyer of the Danish family.
The accused Rachid Afati and Younès Ouziad, also sentenced to death, said that they do not regret their deeds. The court decided to hold a second hearing on Wednesday, 25 September.
For the record, the three main suspects accused of brutally murdering the two Scandinavian tourists near Imlil were sentenced to death in first instance. The remaining 21 suspects involved in the murder, that took place in December 2018, received sentences ranging from five years in prison to life imprisonment.
