Land border between Algeria and Morocco was opened for one day, Wednesday, to repatriate the bodies of three Moroccan migrants who recently died near the Algerian coast, when trying to reach Spain, Le360 reports, quoting well-informed sources.
According to the same source, the bodies of the three nationals were transported to the Moroccan-Algerian border post, Zouj Bghal, after the Algerian authorities gave their permission to proceed.
For the record, land border between Morocco and Algeria was briefly opened, in 2009 and 2010, allowing a British humanitarian convoy dubbed «Viva Palestina», «loaded with multifarious aid destined to the distressed Palestinian population of the Gaza strip», to enter the border town of Maghnia.
