Spanish Civil Guard members arrested, this week, a Moroccan man and a South American woman for their alleged links to the murder of a Spanish computer scientist who was found dead near Zaragoza.

According to Spanish newspaper ABC, the victim was reportedly buried alive after being brutally beaten. It is believed that the man was trapped by a criminal network that uses a woman to attract its victims, through social media.

The two suspects were arrested in Pedrola, a Spanish municipality located in the province of Zaragoza, where the body of the 54-year-old man was found on September 26.

After his body underwent autopsy, authorities revealed that he was buried alive because his lungs were full of dust. According to the same source, the victim contacted a woman via an app called Badoo. On September 6, he went to Zaragoza to meet her before he went missing.
