The subsidiary of British transport firm National Express Group Plc announced, Wednesday, that it has won a 15-year bus contract in Casablanca, Reuters reported.

The new deal will allow ALSA to collect more than 1 billion euros in revenue, the British news agency added. «As in other Moroccan cities, there is opportunity for further growth in other local Casablanca transport markets, such as school buses and tourist services», ALSA said.

National Express’ ALSA will have its Casablanca contract start in November and will be operating 400 buses in the city. This number is expected to reach 700 by 2020 to carry «100 million passengers annually», the same source explained.

The new Morocco deal will help National Express better its next year’s earnings.
