French-Moroccan boxer Nordine Oubaali, WBC bantamweight world champion, will defend his title against Japan’s Takuma Inoue on November 7, Boxing Today says.

«I think it’s a good fight for me to make me known by a new audience, [Takuma Inoue] is a boxer who moves a lot, he is fast», said Nordine Oubaali to Boxing Today.

«This fight will be an explosive fight. I will give my fans what they all expect of me. My training always changes when we compare the skill and profile of my next opponent. (...) I am very proud to have represented the WBC as a world champion. It’s a child’s dream come true for me», Nordine Oubaali added.

Last July, the 33-year-old French-Moroccan athlete defeated Filipino Arthur Villanueva by TKO on the 6th round, thus retaining his title of WBC bantamweight world champion, acquired on January 19 in Las Vegas. He became the eighth French boxer to win a world title in the United States.
