A 15-year-old girl in Ksar El Kebir was detained for several weeks before being released by her abuser after authorities in the town launched a search operation.
Speaking to Yabiladi, Monday, Mohamed Taib Bouchiba from Touche pas a Mon Enfant association said that the suspect had kidnapped and raped the girl, who is currently pregnant. He also «tattooed his name on one of her hands and forced her to take drugs».
The suspect released his alleged victim after her parents filed a complaint. For now, the alleged aggressor is still on the run.
According to Alyaoum 24, the girl has not been to school for two years. She had been in contact with her alleged aggressor for a year before he «dragged her into a house and kidnapped her for over a month». The teenager would have returned home on October 31.
According to the NGO, the alleged victim suffers from a «serious psychological crisis». «She does not talk often and is always distracted», Bouchiba added.
