The new Algerian ambassador presentenced, Wednesday, in Rabat his diplomatic credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Nasser Bourita.
Acting President Abdelkader Bensaleh appointed Abdelhamid Abdaoui, who served as Algeria’s former ambassador to Kuwait, on 26 September.
The decision comes after Morocco reportedly refused the appointment of Abdelaziz Benali Cherif. The latter has been working as a spokesperson for the Algerian Foreign Ministry since 2014.
