The police in Dartford, a town in Kent, England, have seized tortoises reportedly smuggled from Morocco.

According to local online newspaper Kent Online, the three African spurred tortoises, also known as Sulcatas, were recovered from a property off London Road in Dafrtford last month.

«No arrests have been made and the police investigation is still ongoing», police spokesman Charlotte North said. The tortoises are currently at the Healthrow Animal Reception Center in London, the same source concluded.
