A court in Bariano, a commune in Italy, sentenced, Friday, two Italians to life for killing two Moroccan nationals.

According to local newspaper Eco di Bergamo, Manuele Ferrari and Gianluca Forlanelli are accused of shooting two young Moroccans, Nabil El Karfi, 25, and Abdenassar El Moursali, 23, to death. The tragedy took place in July 2017, in Bariano, near the Serio River, an area that would be frequented by dealers and drug users.

The investigation conducted by the Italian authorities at the time revealed that Ferrari and Forlanelli had planned to steal the two Moroccans. But the situation then took a different turn before, when they decided to shoot the two men.
