The Polisario declares a three-day mourning in Tindouf after the death of General Gaid Salah

Just like Algeria, the Polisario Front declared, Monday, a three-day mourning in the Tindouf camps following the death of powerful General Ahmed Gaid Salah.

In a statement relayed by the Front’s press agency, the separatist movement expressed «its sincere condolences» to Algeria, its people, its government and its army, as well as to the family of the deceased.

«Algeria has lost one of its greatest men, who was committed to its liberation struggle fought in the ranks of the National Liberation Army», wrote the movement.

On Monday, a press release from the Presidency of the Algerian Republic declared a three-day national mourning following the death General Salah, who was decreed by the new president Abdelmadjid Tebboune days before his death.
