US : Raytheon Missile Systems to produce AMRAAM missiles for Morocco by 2023

Raytheon Missile Systems, the world's largest missile maker, has been awarded a $768,283,907 contract for Advanced Medium Rage Air-to-Air Missile (AMRAAM) production.

The contract will provide Morocco and other countries with AMRAAM missiles, captive air training missiles, guidance sections, AMRAAM telemetry system, spares and other production engineering support hardware, the US Department of Defense said Friday, 27 December, in a press release.

Raytheon’s production to be performed in Tucson, Arizona, and will be done by February 2023, the same source added.

The sale includes Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Indonesia, Japan, Kuwait, Netherlands, Norway, Oman, Poland, Qatar, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, South Korea, Spain, Thailand, Turkey and United Kingdom.
