American actress Meryl Streep visits a museum in Marrakech

American actress Meryl Streep is currently spending her New Year’s holidays in Marrakech. On Saturday, the actress was spotted at Dar El Bacha, a Marrakech museum, wrote French-language newspaper Le360.

While in Marrakech, Streep took a photo with Moroccan painter and head of the National Fondation of Museums Mehdi Qotbi. On His facebook page, Qotbi posted the photo with Streep, with a caption saying «what a beautiful moment with the fabulous Diva, Lady Meryl Streep.. at Dar Al Bacha museum».

It is not the first time that Streep visits Morocco and Marrakech in particular. In June 2016, she accompanied the then American first lady Michelle Obama in a two-day visit to participate in a «Let Girls Learn» education initiative discussion with young Moroccan women.
