French-Moroccan actor Assaad Bouab plays the role of a CIA agent in «Messiah»

On January 1, the first episode of the American series «Messiah» was broadcast on media-services provider Netflix. French-Moroccan actor Assaad Bouab is part of the series’ crew. He plays the role of a CIA agent called Qamar alongside Michelle Monaghan, Mehdi Dehbi and Stomer Sisley, the main characters in the series created by Australian film writer Michael Petroni.

Bouab, aka agent Q, helps his colleague Eva Geller investigate the «Messiah», a charismatic figure whose followers believe he can perform miracles, read a communiqué sent Friday to Yabiladi.

On Netflix, Assaad Bouab is also part of another series called «Dix pour Cent», which has four seasons.

Born on July 31, 1980 to a Moroccan mother and a French father, Bouab spent his childhood in Morocco, before moving to Paris in 1998. He attended a three-year training in Cours Florent from 1999 to 2002.

He debuted his acting career in Moroccan movie «Marock» by Leila Marrakchi. He also played a role in Nabil Ayouch’ «whatever Lola wants» before embarking on new adventures.
