A court in Tetouan sentenced, Monday, a young man to two years in prison and fined him 5 000 dirhams for publishing a video on social media in which he insulted the king, government officials and doctors at the Saniat El Rmal hospital.

The young man was found guilty of «insulting the emblem and symbols of the kingdom, officials and of disrupting public order», Arabic-language newspaper Al3omk reported.

He was arrested on December 20, 2019, after he appeared in a video where he denounced the alleged «lack of interest of doctors» who, according to him, left him «on a hospital bed for two hours» after a car crash.
