A 24-year-old Moroccan was deliberately ran over and killed, Saturday, by a 43-year-old Italian man near Bologna, Italian news agency ANSA reported on Wednesday.

Quoting sources, ANSA wrote that the suspect had reportedly killed the Moroccan man for allegedly stealing his 17-year-old son’s mobile phone.

The suspect, who is a factory worker, is accused of «premeditated murder», the same source said, adding that the deceased is called Mohamed Amine El Fatine.

The Italian national ran over El Fatine days after they fought over the alleged stolen cellphone, police said, adding that the man denies all charges.
