A Morocco delegation attends an education forum in London to forge new partnerships

A senior delegation led by the Moroccan Minister of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research Said Amzazi will be visiting London from 20 to 24 January 2020, the British Embassy in Rabat said in a communiqué sent Monday to Yabiladi.

The delegation, which will also be headed by Minister Delegate for Higher Education Driss Ouaouicha, includes four university presidents and four senior officials from the same ministry.

The delegation is accompanied by «British Council Director in Morocco, Tony Reilly and DFID Maghreb Education Advisor Kate Thomson», the same source added.

During this visit, organized by the British Council and the British Embassy in Morocco, Amzazi will address the Education World Forum (EWF) in London 20 January.

During the forum, the Moroccan minister «will share Morocco’s roadmap for Education in a discussion on long term solutions for tackling learning poverty», the same statement added. The Moroccan delegation will also be holding talks with their UK counterparts to «forge new partnerships between Moroccan and British universities and research institutions».
