Morocco’s exporter of phosphate rock OCP will set up a regional center in Romania, local online newspaper Romania Insider reports.

The new facility in Romania is in partnership with Al Dahra group, an Emirati agribusiness firm specializing in the cultivation, production and trading of animal feed and human food commodities such as rice, flour, fruits and vegetables.

The same firm operates one of the largest farms in Romania, the same source added. The OCP and Al Dahra joint venture will be named SEEFCO (South East European Fertilizer Company).

The latter is expected to have a capital of $5 million and will be importing, storing and distributing chemical fertilizers both inside and outside Romania, the same source concluded.
