Commemorating the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, Jerusalem hosted a world forum to remember the Holocaust and fight against anti-Semitism. About 40 heads of state attended the forum.

Meanwhile in Poland, Muslim leaders joined the descendants of Holocaust survivors in prayer during a visit to Auschwitz. The secretary general of Morocco’s Rabita Mohammedia des Oulémas (Mohammadia League of Scholars) Ahmed Abbadi attended prayers in Poland.

Indeed, Muslim officials from other countries were also present at the event, said the Facebook page the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs. And since Muslim scholar could not go to Israel to attend the forum, they left for Auschwitz to pray.

The Muslim delegation was led by Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, the secretary general of the Saudi Arabia-funded Muslim World League.
