On Friday in New Zealand, protesters ran the flag of the Polisario Front to protest Kiwi councilors meeting with Moroccan officials, Stuff reports.

The protest staged in Christchurch was attended by members of the rail, maritime and transport union who stood outside the Environment Canterbury. Protesters noted «the Moroccan government's attempts to lobby New Zealand politicians».

Meanwhile, councilors Peter Scott, Lan Pham and Nicole Marshall were holding talks with Mbarka Bouaida, the president of the southeast Guelmim-Oued Noun region of Morocco, and Moroccan ambassador to New Zealand Karim Medrek.
