Morocco bids to host two CAF club competition finals

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation has officially submitted a bid to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to host the finals of two of its competitions, namely the African Champions League and the second tier African Confederation Cup, BBC Sport reports.

On Wednesday, it reported that Morocco wants to stage the 2020 Champions League final at the Mohammed V stadium in Casablanca. The Moulay Abdellah Complex in Rabat is also mentioned as a potential host for the Confederation Cup.

Morocco’s bid was submitted after CAF sent letters to member associations to send their bids before February 20th.
