Two Spanish nationals of Moroccan descent, who live in Ceuta, died Sunday in a speed chase with the Royal Gibraltar Police, Andalucia Informacion reports.

Two other individuals, who live in Ceuta and Portugal, were wounded in the same accident. They have been treated but they have been put in police custody because they are accused of «dangerous navigation», «drug trafficking» and «resisting arrest».

The speed chase took place on Sunday, when the Royal Giblartar Police intercepted their boat. «It is a 14-meter long inflatable boat, powered by four engines and equipped with a radar», police said.

The families of the deceased have been contacted by the authorities, Andalucia Informacion concluded.
