The United Arab Emirates announced, Tuesday, that the Moroccan national who tested positive for coronavirus in the country has recovered, Khaleej Times reports.
According to the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention, this brings the number of patients who have recovered in the country to 17. The list includes a Moroccan national, an Egyptian one and three Emiratis.
The UAE’s announcement comes after the country announced 15 new coronavirus cases, which brought the number of people infected with COVID-19 to 74.
On Friday, the country’s Ministry of Health and Prevention said that the new 15 affected patients in UAE include a Moroccan national. The latter was diagnosed with the virus alongside other foreign nationals from Thailand, China, India, Saudi Arabia, Ethiopia and Iran.
In Morocco, five people have tested positive for the virus, including a woman who died Tuesday.
