The Kingdom of Morocco has decided to suspend, until further notice, all international passenger flights to and from its territory, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans residing abroad announced in a press release issued Sunday.

The decision is part of the Kingdom’s plan to avoid the spread of the novel coronavirus. It comes after the implementation of a series of travel bans mutually agreed on by the Kingdom and several European countries.

For the record, Morocco recorded 28 confirmed coronavirus cases. Most of the infected patients have been to Europe in the last couple of weeks.
