Morocco’s confirmed coronavirus cases jump to 29

A new confirmed coronavirus case was recorded, Monday, bringing the number of Covid-19 cases in Morocco to 29.

In a Facebook post, the Health Ministry reported that 135 suspected coronavirus cases have tested negative for the virus. The 29 confirmed cases include a patient who recovered and another one who died after testing positive for the virus.

According to health authorities, all but one of the confirmed coronavirus cases in Morocco have been abroad in the last couple of weeks, namely to France, Spain and Italy.

The 29 confirmed cases include Morocco’s Equipment Minister Abdelkader Amara, who tested positive for the virus after an official trip to Hungary.
