Morocco has decided to close, starting Monday, cafes, restaurants, movie theaters, concert halls, sports clubs and public baths to avoid the spread of the novel coronavirus.
In a press release, the Interior Ministry said that the decision would be implemented by 6 pm this Monday. The new measure does not include «markets and shops», the Ministry added, calling Moroccans to comply by the preventive measures imposed by the authorities and avoid gatherings.
For the record, 29 people have tested positive for coronavirus in Morocco. Most of them have been to Europe in the last couple of weeks.
