Coronavirus : British rapper Professor Green leaves his country to isolate himself in Tangier

British rapper Professor Green has revealed that he is in Morocco, where he is in solitary confinement because of the Coronavirus. According to The Sun, he had «taken the last plane authorized to land in the country in the middle of the coronavirus epidemic».

The tabloid said that the 36-year-old rapper - whose real name is Stephen Manderson - and his girlfriend Karima McAdams published several stories on Instagram from Tangier before going into solitary confinement.

«The couple arrived at a near empty airport and appeared to be the only people collecting luggage from the carousel. They then headed straight to a supermarket to fill a trolley with food and household essentials», the newspaper wrote.

«It's official ... waiting out corona in Morocco», the rapper’s girlfriend Karima said in a comment on his Instagram stories.

The Sun recalls that Morocco has now banned flights to and from the United Kingdom, while the British Foreign Office has advised against all but essential travel to the country.
