The Atlas Lions and their coach urge Moroccans to stay home amid coronavirus outbreak

In a video posted on Twitter, members of Morocco’s National Football Team took to social media to advise Moroccans amid coronavirus outbreak.

«Please respect the orders of the Moroccan government and stay home to save the lives of others», Bosnian professional football coach Vahid Halilhodzic and the Atlas Lions’ current manager said in the two-minute long video.

The video also featured international footballer Nordin Amrabet, Raja Casablanca center back Badr Banoun and Moroccan goalkeeper Munir Mohand Mohamedi.

«Moroccans must be responsible and stay home», Hassania Agadir winger Karim El Berkaoui said in said video, alongside fellow Moroccan footballers Yahya Joubran and Achraf Hakimi.

The video was shared by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation.
