Confirmed coronavirus cases in Morocco reaches 61

Three new Covid-19 infections were recorded, Thursday, bringing the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Morocco to 61.

Four other confirmed cases were recorded also this morning, the Health Ministry announced in a Facebook post.

Morocco has recorded two deaths related to the novel virus so far, with 276 suspected coronavirus cases that tested negative for the virus.

Most of the recorded Covid-19 infections in Morocco are imported, the Health Minister Khalid Ait Taleb said yesterday in a press release, adding that new local cases have also been recorded recently.

The Minister said that the upcoming days are expected to be crucial, urging Moroccans to respect the preventive measures set by the authorities to curb the spread of the novel virus.
