Tunisian President Kais Saied held a phone call, Tuesday, with King Mohammed VI to discuss how Tunisia is dealing with the novel coronavirus outbreak, Tunisian newspaper Alchourouk reports.
The two head of states held talks on the health situation in both Tunisia and Morocco and stressed the need of cooperating and benefiting from one another’s experiences during this crisis.
According to the same source, the Tunisian president stressed the need of adopting a different approach when dealing with the pandemic. He referred to Tunisia's initiative aimed at pushing the UN Security Council to address the health situation caused by the outbreak in various countries of the world.
For his part, King Mohammed VI urged for the adoption of a regional approach to tackle the situation.
