The German club of Schalke 04 has decided to sanction Amine Harit, for having visited a shisha bar during containment, BeINsports reports.
On Wednesday, Jochen Schneider, the sporting director of S04, revealed that the former Nantes player was fined. He will also have to carry out an action in favor of a supporters' association.
Harit had just published a video on social media in which he urged fans to stay at home and do everything to stop the spread of the virus. Schneider said the player was «sorry» for doing the wrong thing, promising that «it won't happen again».
In the midst of confinement in Germany, the Moroccan international found nothing better than going out to have fun in a shisha bar with his friends two weeks ago, making headlines in Germany.
