The former Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, and government’s spokesperson Hassan Abyaba was ousted, Tuesday, by King Mohammed VI from the government.

On the same day, the sovereign appointed Othman El Ferdaous to fulfill the same position, while current Minister of National Education, Vocational training and Higher education and Scientific Research Said Amzazi was named the government’s new spokesperson.

This change takes place in accordance with the provisions of article 47 of the Constitution and on a proposal from the head of government, Saadeddine El Othmani.

Since his appointment to the government last October, Hassan Abyaba has stood out not by his actions but by his mistakes and his absences.

For the record, under the El Othmani I government, Othman El Ferdaous was Secretary of State in charge of Investment at the Ministry of Industry, Investment, Trade and Digital Economy.
