The number of coronavirus cases in Morocco jumps to 1,988

Morocco recorded 100 new confirmed coronavirus cases, between Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 1,988.

The number of suspected cases that tested negative for the virus reached 8,404 cases, the Health Ministry announced.

The total number of deaths related to the novel coronavirus accounts for 127. As for recoveries, Morocco recorded 1 new ones, bringing the total number to 218.
