The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases has jumped to 2,528, with 245 new infections recorded between Thursday evening and Friday morning, the Health Ministry said in an update.
The total number of coronavirus deaths stands at 133 victims. As for recoveries, Morocco recorded 24 new ones, bringing the total number to 273.
During a press briefing held yesterday, the Head of the Directorate of Epidemiology and the fight against infectious diseases at the Health Ministry, Mohamed Lyoubi, said the most of the new confirmed coronavirus cases in Morocco were recorded within families and among workers in plants in the city of Casablanca, Marrakech, Tangier and Fes.
