King Mohammed VI and the king of Jordan Abduallah discussed, Wednesday, ways of coordinating efforts to counter the novel coronavirus, the Jordan Times reported.

In a phone call, the two sovereigns highlighted the «importance of maintaining efforts to counter the humanitarian and economic ramifications of Covid-19, while also safeguarding the health and wellbeing of peoples», read a Royal Court statement.

During the same call, King Abdullah said that he supports Morocco’s efforts to counter the pandemic.

The two leaders discussed ties between the two countries during the same call, the same source concluded.
