The man who voluntarily crushed a flock of sheep in Morocco to be brought before the prosecutor

The French national who crushed a flock of sheep on Saturday has been taken into custody. «Arrested on Sunday, he will be brought before the prosecutor on Tuesday morning», Mohamed Metlouf, a member of the Benslimane section of the Moroccan Association for Human Rights (AMDH) told Yabiladi.

«We sill do not know the charges brought against him for the moment. He is still with the royal gendarmerie at El Mansouria», Metlouf said.

For the record, the man in question chased a flock of sheep on Saturday and crushed soem of the animals guarded by a child. The act was exposed in a video shared on social media. After ploughing the sheep, the man threatened the young shepherd saying : «Get lost, or you will be just like the sheep».

Several animal welfare associations said that they are ready to file complaints against the man.
